Why the focus on patients and their family members who have experienced cancer?

Bethany’s dream for Andrews Grace Behavioral Health began as a nurse scientist researching cancer survivorship (i.e. living life during and after cancer). While patients are certainly welcome to discuss emotions related to their or their family’s cancer experience, they are also free to focus on other mental health needs that having nothing to do with cancer.
